New York City, January 3, 2010--Despite the biting cold, a lively scene at the Pink Teacup on the last day of business at its current location. Later in the day a fundraising benefit was held at The Actors' Playhouse Theater, where the famous soul food restaurant may reopen. It's a special place for me because In the early days of Avalanche magazine, late 60s early 70s, Willoughby Sharp and I would often eat there.
