Hey All! On 15 September 2025, weather at Schiphol Airport delivered gusty winds, heavy clouds, and challenging landing conditions that put both pilots and aircraft to the test. Meteorological records from that day show: ✈️ Strong winds from the west-southwest, with a highest gust recorded at 82.8 km/h (23 m/s) and sustained winds around 45 km/h (12.6 m/s) — conditions that can create significant crosswinds on final approach and rollout. 🌦️ Rainfall accumulated over 10 mm during the day, with over 2 hours of precipitation, adding wet runway challenges. 🌫️ Heavy cloud cover and reduced visibility were reported, with a low visibility minimum near 3300–3400 m — making visual approaches tougher than usual. 🌡️ Temperatures stayed mild for September, with highs around 19–20 °C. With gusty winds, frequent cloud bands, and periods of rain, pilots had to rely on skill, precision, and expert aircraft control throughout the day — especially during heavy jets’ landings and crosswind approaches. This video captures some of those intense moments, including dramatic landings under real adverse weather at one of Europe’s busiest airports. 🔔 Subscribe for more storm landings, pilot insights, and extreme weather aviation!
