Her brother is best actor and action star Ace Vergel, dubbed as the Original Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema. Ms Bev was the female lead in action films of Bong Revilla, Ronnie Ricketts, Eddie Gracie, Monsieur Del Rosario and Ricky Davao, Conrad Poe, and Miguel Rodriguez, Dan Alvaro, John Regala, Paquito Diaz Next she portrayed female lead roles to comedy king Dolphy, Redford White, Joey Marquez and Joey De Leon.
