Her brother is best actor and action star Ace Vergel, dubbed as the Original Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema. Ms Bev was the female lead in action films of Bong Revilla, Ronnie Ricketts, Eddie Gracie, Monsieur Del Rosario and Ricky Davao, Conrad Poe, and Miguel Rodriguez, Dan Alvaro, John Regala, Paquito Diaz Next she portrayed female lead roles to comedy king Dolphy, Redford White, Joey Marquez and Joey De Leon. Her most popular role was as ALMIRA DEL VALLE in the longest running teleserye in the 1990’s. The teleserye was capped with a movie with the same title, “MARA CLARA”. She is one of the few actresses who rose the ranks from actress to 2nd Assistant Director, Assistant Director, Executive Producer, Writer, Director for TV and Film.
