Latvia to Lithuania: Birthday Hotel Surprise & Road Trip!

Today is a very special day because we are celebrating my husband's birthday while traveling from Latvia to Lithuania [00:32]. As a Filipina YouTuber currently living in Ukraine, I love how easy it is to explore these beautiful neighboring countries in Europe. Our stay in Latvia started with the most amazing surprise at the Wellton Riverside SPA Hotel (formerly Wellton Riga Hotel & SPA) [01:35]. We had originally booked a superior room, but because it was my husband's birthday, the staff gave us a massive upgrade to their biggest suite! [01:00]. It was "sana all" levels of beautiful—we had a huge living room, a separate bedroom, and they even prepared a box of chocolates and two bottles of champagne for us [01:23]. In this video, I’ll take you on a full room tour: The elegant bathroom with a massive mirror and full bathtub [01:51]. The spacious living area with a work desk and mini-bar [02:47]. The cozy bedroom setup with birthday treats [03:43]. After enjoying our stay, we headed out to explore the downtown area. We found a great Korean restaurant called Sora where they play K-pop songs and serve delicious authentic food [04:38]. We also spent time strolling around the local markets and even attempted to visit a historic castle, though the climb was quite a workout! [06:50]. Finally, we hit the road for the drive from Latvia to Lithuania. The scenery along the way is so peaceful and perfect for a birthday road trip.
