Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Drop Test: How Easy is it To Pick Up?

Royal Enfield was foolish enough to lend me a Himalayan 450 without any stipulations as to what I can and can't do with it...so let's throw it on the ground. In this Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 drop test, we throw the bike on the ground in several different configurations, including with the OEM hard cases and without. I try out several different methods of lifting the Himalayan 450 and then give my final conclusions at the end. For a bike that's pretty light for an adventure bike, picking up the Himalayan 450 is surprisingly difficult. The Royal Enfield hard cases do not help you lift the bike the way some other OEM hard panniers do. All in all, dropping the Himalayan 450 is not the end of the world, but picking up a Himalayan 450 isn't super easy either. I recommend waiting for help or just being in better shape than this old middle aged Dork.
