In this TV repair training we have a Vizio P502ui-B1E that has no picture at turn on. Before ordering the Main board I will show how to check the televisions eeprom ic which is usually located next to the Microprocessor IC. The part number on this eeprom chip is 25L3206E, we will use a similar eeprom # 25q64jv as a reference chip to go online and check the pinouts and the datasheet of the eeprom so we can check data input and output signals using a Rigol MS5000 series oscilloscope. After being satisfied with our scope readings at the cs pin, clock input pin, and the data input and output pins we still ended up replacing the eeprom only to find out that the new eeprom was not giving us any readings at all. After doing research we find out that its possible that the new tv eeprom was clipping off the clock signal input because it may have been the wrong eeprom for this televisions main board. The Mainboards board number is 715G6924-M01-000-005T, while the actual part number on the barcode sticker was XECB0TK004030X. FOR TOOLS AND TEST EQUIPMENT
