Water Cooled Goped Sport is a Blast!!!

Finally taking the water cooled sport out for a short test ride. The carb’s pop off rate is too high for the lean mid-range to be corrected. I need to modify the spring or replace the spring with a lighter one to remove the lean mid midrange error. I have done so in the past by clipping the spring shorter one rung at a time until the proper tune could be achieved. Unfortunately, during my last test run (not in this video) the rear tire blew off the rim. I am out of decent tires to continue riding this scooter. I need my bead lock to come in the mail so I can do more test runs and tuning under a proper load. Negative side of things, the black magic spindle is not a good candidate for this setup. It wears the tire greatly during the power band and the tire actually needs to be tightened after each run. Not good for long term use. Funny thing, during my fastest run, my silly self forgot to turn on the water pump, which is why you see air bubbles in the coolant hose. This is the main reason I do not like electric, it’s easy to forget to flip a switch. But hey 33.4mph on a hard tire is pretty good for a mild tuned boat motor. More videos coming soon.
