How to play Space Cadet by Kyuss on guitar Full lesson including the intro and other guitar parts with TAB. I thought I would cover two different tunings to play this as it may help someone out! This video covers: 00:00 OVERVIEW/TUNINGS 02:35 INTRO/SCOTT'S BASS part for guitar (C# Standard) 14:41 JOSH'S GUITAR PARTS (D# Standard) 20:25 GUITAR SOLO IDEAS (D# Standard) 22:12 JOSH'S GUITAR PARTS (C# Standard) 26:46 GUITAR SOLO IDEAS (C# Standard) The video turned out way longer then expected as I couldn't stop banging on! I do try to be as thorough as possible for all types of players. These tunings are based on playing along with the album version and are my own interpretation. Not overall 100%, more of a guide. Scott’s footage also helped for the intro. PLEASE NOTE - The footage of Scott on Play this Riff is tuned to C Standard so it will sound different to the album! His bass is also strung upside down to make it more confusing ha. Also the ending of the song has slightly different guitar bits going on very similar to the ones I covered! Rhythm or ‘durational values’ in the TAB is obviously not correct for the keen eye - I’ve just tried to place the riffs in parts together to help it make a little more sense.
