First Time Mounting Rollerskates | Mounting My Bont Parkstars

Hi everyone! In this video I mounted my first pair of rollerskates! Mounting my Bont Parkstars was both challenging and a fun experience. I will for sure do this again with my future skates. I do not recommend using this as a tutorial, but if you would like to follow along with what I did feel free to watch! Let me know if you have questions on what/how I did this. I hope you enjoy! Steps for Mounting Rollerskates Find the center of the boot. (line will end up between the 2nd and 3rd toe and directly in the center of the heel.) Line the plate up with the centerline, keeping in mind the distance you have from the back of the skate to the plate. Mark where the mounting bolts will be. Repeat with the other boot. Find a way to keep the skate sturdy while drilling and begin drilling in the marks you made. (keep bit as straight as possible.) Stick bolts through the holes. (longer bolts will be for the heel, shorter for the front) Put the plate back on, sticking the bolts through the holes in the plate. If you like how it looks, put the washer and nut on to tighten the plate to the boot. If the plate is off, determine how badly and see if you can redrill it or if you will have to fill the hole first. Redrill and repeat steps 5 through 7. OPTIONAL STEP. Put loctite on the bolts where the nut will sit to help keep the nut from loosening. Tighten all nuts down fully and break/cut the bolts off. Sand down any sharp parts if you would like. Assemble skate as usual. Thank you for watching!
