Inspired by medieval fantasy and the Souls series, Trinsic is a passion project I've been wanting to make for some time now. PROCESS: Everything was built from a blank scene in UE5.2, using various assets from the Marketplace as well as Quixel Megascans. Some additional post/audio work done in DaVinci Resolve. Started initially as a small single shot vignette, Trinsic organically expanded. LORE: Trinsic was founded centuries ago by a visionary ruler who saw the strategic advantage of the mountain summit. It was a masterwork of stone and engineering, its mighty walls seemingly hewn from the very rock of the mountain. Travelers looked up at its distant peak and were reminded that challenges could be overcome, and that strength came not only from the stone walls but from the spirit of its people. This was before the fall of Trinsic. The remnants of the once-renowned indomitable fortress, now humbled by the relentless tide of siege and time, stand as a reverent testament to the passage of ages and the echoing whispers of history. The stories of Trinsic's fall are now carried by the wind whispering through the overgrown archways and the vines that seemed to hold the secrets of generations. It’s as if nature itself has taken up the mantle of preserving the castle's memory, transforming its inner ward into a realm of quiet beauty and tranquil reflection. Ever persistent, nature has woven its intricate tapestry across the castle's stone structures, claiming dominion over the once-mighty fortress. Deep within the heart of Castle Trinsic, the Chapel had once been a haven of solace and sanctity, a place where prayers were offered, and hopes were kindled. The unrelenting assault was more evident here than anywhere else. A reflection of the castle's legacy and the unyielding embrace of time. Amidst the ruins, seeking respite beside a crackling bonfire, sat a solitary knight. A sentinel of both the castle's glory and its demise.
