For quite some time, I struggled with what many may call a creative block. And you noticed it: fewer uploads on my YouTube channel, even though I toured the world and should have been more inspired than ever. It’s not that I didn’t work on sets or record anything—I just always had the feeling it wasn’t good enough. Good enough for who? For me. Holding yourself to high standards is great—until it gets frustrating because you know you can do better. Months passed, and then, unexpectedly, one of my gigs got canceled, leaving me stranded in Dubai. I decided to miss my flight (on purpose) and extend my trip—for an uncertain amount of time—waiting to see what God had in store for me. That’s when I met the beautiful girls and boys from House of Yanos, who were just as eager to create something as I was. Staying in Dubai and opening myself to all the opportunities the world had for me—and letting go of the fear of not being "good enough"—was a groundbreaking moment. It set me free from unrealistic expectations and standards. So, I called this set: Perfection Is a Myth. Because it doesn’t exist. Not in real life. Not in the world of an artist. It never did, and it never will. Let this serve as a reminder: you can’t reach the goal without embracing the process itself. You’re not going to build a legacy if you keep your art from the world—that’s how I see it now. Well, enough about me.
