This is an irresistible art technique with stencils, especially if you love creating your own papers to use us in your collage and mixed media work. Try it: Place stencil on paper and spray with distress resist spray and let it dry. Rinse your stencil and set aside. Wipe distress ink pad of choice randomly over part of stenciled paper, spray with a mist of water, and wipe around with a paper towel. Repeat above step with other distress ink colors.
