During his press conference before Duke's Sweet Sixteen matchup against St. John's, head coach Jon Scheyer was asked about coaching against Rick Pitino, who was the opposing coach in Duke's famous game against Kentucky in the 1992 NCAA Tournament. After he confirmed that he was five-years-old when that game happened, Scheyer talked about the respect he has for Coach Pitino, but also said that he feels like he is where he belongs. He has worked hard, and everything he has done has led him to this moment, coaching against other Hall of Fame-level coaches for the right to advance to the Final Four.
