What was meant to be a night of live music and fun turned tragic when strong winds ripped through the REDWEST Country Music Festival area and killed a young woman visiting from Seattle. Police say 23-year-old Ava Ahlander died after she was struck by a wooden board that came loose in high winds near the festival grounds in a nearby parking lot. Her uncle, Bobby Ahlander, said the impact was sudden and severe.
