Navigating Parenthood at the Bar: An Inns of Court Alliance for Women event

This event brought together a diverse panel of legal professionals from across the judiciary and the Bar, including parents of young children, those with experience of caring for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and chronic health challenges, and carers navigating later stages of family life. Some are at the start of their parenting journeys, while others reflect on the long-term impact of parental responsibilities across a legal career. Together, they shared honest reflections and practical insights for those at every stage of their legal journey. The panel was chaired by Mrs Justice Lieven, co-convener of ICAW, and included The Rt Hon Lady Justice Whipple DBE, Sean Jones KC, District Judge Fagborun Bennett, Emma Price and Emma Louise Fenelon.
