Timber Rafting on the Klaralven in Sweden. Named in The Guardian newspaper as 1 of 50 things to do. This trip was an unforgettable experience. Building your own timber raft and trying to control 2 tonnes of timber raft down the Klaralven River in Varmland Sweden. The trip is a 4 day excursion although we done the trip in 3 and overnighted at the end campsite before heading south and spending a night on Vanern. The excursion is run by Vildmark I Varmland http://www.vildmark.se This was a very difficult trip when the boys where so young as you really need a lot of power to try and steer 2 tonnes of wood. Looking back at the trip it was difficult but as mentioned earlier a completely unforgettable experience.
