This collects the fine dust particles contained in the exhaust gases in a honeycomb microporous structure and eliminates them through regular combustion. To ensure maximum reliability, the 1.3-litre petrol engines completed 40,000 hours on the test bench during their development. This equates to eight hours of daily use over a 14-year period. Renault offers the TCe 140 PF and TCe 160 PF with a 6-speed manual transmission and the 7-speed EDC dual-clutch transmission. The two diesel Blue dCi 115 and Blue dCi 150 have the SCR catalytic converter to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOX) emissions. In addition, the diesel engines offer more power and torque. The Blue dCi 115 mobilizes 5 hp and 10 Nm more than its predecessor. The new Blue dCi 150 provides 20 hp more than the previous top diesel in the Kadjar. Renault offers it with variable all-wheel drive.
