Review for the day. One of the most common goals our Skills Enhancement Seminar (SES) participants have for their week long, hands on training program is, "how to identify rotations and slips (upslips and downslips) in the pelvis" John states in MFR I that the cornerstone to his Approach is balancing the pelvis, so you need to be able to see and feel how your patient's pelvis is aligned before you start treating it. This brief video is not intended to be a substitute for learning this aspect of evaluation during a MFR seminar or while attending an SES program. You learn much much more about rotations and slips during the seminars and the SES program. Just wanted to share a couple of pointers that may help you understand and evaluate these dysfunctions better. This example was done with the patient in supine on the table. You also want to evaluate your patient in standing, because things may change in gravity and you can get more information on what is going on. Hope this is helpful.
