Bounty's Bangin' Cookie Recipe 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks) 1 cup light brown sugar 1/3 cup granulated white sugar 1large egg + 2 egg yolks 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 cups all purpose flour 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup dark chocolate bar cut into small chunks 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips STEPS ------------------------ 1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F 2.) Put the butter onto a pan and cook it on low/medium heat to brown the butter. Once it's a dark amber color, set it aside to cool down. 3.)Whisk together your flour, baking soda, and salt (tip, put all those ingredients in a siv to help remove the chunks to make mixing easier). 4.) Mix the brown and white sugar in a large bowl, then add the butter you set aside to cool down and mix until well combined. Then, add the egg and egg yolks as well as vanilla extract and mix until combined again (so much mixing). 5.) Add the dry ingredients and gently fold until it starts to form a cookie dough. This could get messy so be patient. 6.) Once that's mixed, add the semi sweet and dark chocolate chunks and mix again until the chocolate pieces are spread evenly across the dough. 7.) Let it rest for 20 minutes in the fridge if you want to let the dough firm up, but if not, scoop them onto a baking sheet with parchment paper on it (recommend letting it rest) 8.) Bake in oven for 10 minutes, ORRR until the edges of the cookie are a golden brown color. The edges will have a nice crisp edge to them, while the center of them will still be a bit soft with the melted chocolate. (everyone's ovens are different, 10 minutes is just a benchmark number you can use to gauge the timing of it) 9.) Leave them on the pan for 10-15 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack to finish cooling down and enjoyyyyyyy
