Chikkaballapura or its anglicized version Chikkaballapur is popular with tourists for Nandi Hills and the Bhoganandishwara Temple. It has a lot of historical significance and is just around 3 km away from Muddenahalli, the birthplace of Sir M Vishweshwaraiah.
