Read our full review: https://goo.gl/n7TEJJ Our Spotlight is on the 2018 Kia Niro SX Touring, a fully loaded subcompact hybrid crossover SUV, and one that's incredibly well designed. In fact we think this might be the best looking hybrid crossover on the market today, something that's hard to accomplish in either category. Our full tour and review of the 2018 Kia Niro goes over all the interior and exterior features of this car, including the HID Xenon headlights, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision avoidance with radar cruise control, and automatic power folding mirrors. Some of the interior features include a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and an 8" UVO infotainment screen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM Radio, and Navigation. We wanted to set out and get the most fuel efficient drive with this car possible, and during our week we drove about 520km averaging 5.8L/100km on average. We found it difficult to run the car in EV mode, as the gas engine often kicked in under higher speeds or faster acceleration. We do like the design and efficiency of this Kia Niro, but we feel the PHEV version makes the most sense, allowing customers to plug-in their vehicle at night, at work, or at the store to get better fuel economy by using electricity over fuel.
