Since we are in Greece now, we visited the Marathon Lake, 33 kms away from Athens Capital Center. It's an artificial Lake and it's 54-meter height and 285-meter long Dam which forms the lake, was build in 1926 with high-quality Pantelic marble, the same material that was used in the Parthenon (Acropolis). It took 3 years for the 2000 workers to complete it. The surroundings of the place is majestic and the location is close to the Original Marathon Race starting point.
