iOS 19 To Drop Support for iPhone XS and XR?

👇 SUBSCRIBE:    / saranbyte   Right people we have information on which devices will be running iOS 19 and iPadOS 19 this September, and unfortunately there’s bad news. So as a lot of people know iOS 19 is going to be a major overhaul with a redesign that I’ll get into later in the video, but because it’s going to be such a substantial update Apple does apparently plan to drop the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR according to a credible anonymous source. These devices were released back in 2018 so they’ve already had roughly 6 years of support, and so I’m not too surprised by this news. The XR especially only has 3GB of RAM, so for those still using these devices just be aware that your device may lose support soon. Now obviously these phones not getting iOS 19 does not suddenly make them unusable, Apple still releases security updates for devices on older iOS versions and so you could theoretically keep using these phones for a little longer, but eventually apps will stop supporting iOS 18 and also you’ll be missing out on newer features you would want to try out. 📍LATEST VIDEOS: iPad Air M1 in 2025 - Still Worth Buying?
