Márquez started the Thailand MotoGP™ 105 points head of Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso, and with just 100 more up for grabs across the remaining races after Thailand, all Márquez had to do was finish ahead of Dovizioso to take his sixth premier class title and his eighth in all classes.
