A couple hours later, Shadow begins to vocalize loudly and Jackie flies in to the high perch - vocal and on high alert. As Jackie was flying to the nest there was a sub adult right behind her and it flew right over the nest.Shadow & Jackie were tracking it and giving warning calls. The sub adult circles around and makes another flyby over the nest! Shadow will fly off to make sure the sub adult is gone from the area. Jackie comes to the nest & takes over incubation duties. Shadow is found on the headless tree in the morning light. Gorgeous views of Shadow looking majestic! Shadow will fly off and bring fluff to the nest and Jackie will take a break. Shadow then resumes his egg duty! Thank you for watching!
