Welcome back to the Judith Plains Montana Farm Timelapse. We start the day by completing the sunflower harvest for a contract job, earning valuable income to reinvest back into the farm. Once we receive the payment, we use the funds to purchase a new field that already has ripe canola ready for harvest. Without wasting any time, we head straight to the new field with our combine harvester and get to work collecting the canola crop. After the canola harvest is finished, we move on to field preparation to get the soil ready for the next planting season. We use a cultivator to break up the soil and then apply granular fertilizer to enrich it and boost future yields. Once the field is fully cultivated and fertilized, we bring in a tractor equipped with a seeder and start sowing sunflowers, planning ahead for another profitable harvest.
