Dr. Michael Black joined Fox Valley Surgical Specialists (FVSS) in 2008. A Wisconsin native, Dr. Black received his bachelor’s degree from the University of LaCrosse and his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. After completing his residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, he went on to complete his Endoscopic/Bariatric fellowship at the Minnesota Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr. Black enjoys working with patients of all ages and his main goal is overall health and well-being. He feels it is important to form partnerships with his patients to determine the best possible treatment. In addition to general surgery and endoscopy, Dr. Black performs minimally invasive surgery and works with patients whom have acid reflux and are considering surgical management.
