#Tarikh Tarikh Episode 659 In this episode Nikhil talks about Nadir Shah. He was born in 1688 in the village of Dastgerd, Persia (modern-day Iran), rose to prominence as a military genius and a powerful ruler during the 18th century. Often referred to as Nadir Shah Afshar, he is best known for his military campaigns, which culminated in the sacking of Delhi in 1739. Nadir Shah's early life was marked by adversity and struggle. He started as a common soldier and gradually ascended the ranks due to his exceptional military skills and strategic acumen. His rise to power reached its zenith in 1736 when he proclaimed himself Shah of Persia after successfully overthrowing the ruling Safavid dynasty. One of Nadir Shah's most notable achievements was the invasion of the Mughal Empire. In 1739, he led a devastating military campaign that resulted in the capture of Delhi. The event, known as the Battle of Karnal, marked a turning point in the region's history. Nadir Shah's forces looted the city, plundering immense wealth, including the famous Peacock Throne and the Koh-i-Noor diamond. Despite his military prowess, Nadir Shah's rule was not without challenges. His authoritarian style and harsh policies faced opposition, leading to internal strife. In 1747, he was assassinated, marking the end of his short but impactful reign. His death resulted in a power vacuum and the disintegration of his empire. खबरों को विस्तार से पढ़ने के लिए क्लिक करे यहां- https://www.thelallantop.com/ LT Premium जॉइन करने के लिए नीचे दिए लिंक पर क्लिक करें: / @thelallantop Instagram: / thelallantop Facebook: / thelallantop Twitter: / thelallantop Produced By: The Lallantop Edited By: Alok Sahu
