Someshwar Hills (Gobardhana) is a dense natural jungle, situated at 62 Kilometre from Bettiah (Headquarter of West Champaran District of Bihar State) & 18 Kilometre from Ramnagar in north. Gobardhana is a part of Valmiki Tiger Reserve famous for its pristine Ramayana period Temple of Lord Shiva & Goddess Mahakaali, extinct & different species of Flora & Fauna, beautiful Waterfalls & spellbinding scenery. This Jungle is guarded by SSB central armed & Forest department forces. This place is very close to Nepal border & shares expansion of jungle area. This is an underrated tourist attraction. The peaks of Someshwar hills overlooking India and Nepal through awful and mesmerizing gorges tearing through the Terai hills. The visible layers of sedimentary rock formation at Parewa Deh water fall provide a life time experience for any visitor. There is also Someshwar Temple atop Someshwar peak of mythical fame. The dense and deep pockets of forest in the oblong section of Someshwar Block from Gabardhana to Dhumatanr – Jasauli provide for a very adventurous safari experience. "Parewa" or "parba" in local, means pigeon and "dah" means water body. So parewa dah is a place where both co-exist. One of the most beautiful places of tiger Reserve, it is on way to Someshwar temple. One can see numerous fishes in the emerald blue crystal clear water found here. Water continuously flows down the waterfall. Doves and bee- eaters swarming in hundreds reside in high burrows surrounding this place. No visit to forest is complete without visiting this place. .......... Valmiki vs Gobardhana Valmiki Tiger Reserve is far better in terms of services and hospitality, but Gobardhana has "parewa dah" , the most beautiful and unexploited section of the Forest with crystal clear water and uninterrupted mobile network (jio network) ..........
