What happens when you Dial up over VoIP Zoom V.92 56K modem

This is what happens when you call a dial-up service over a VoIP based phone line, using a Zoom V.92 modem, and there happens to be minor issues with the dial-up server. This was recorded several years ago, dialling into an Optus dial-up number, now no longer active. The intention of the recordings was to get a resonantly accurate V.90 and V.92 dial-up sound over VoIP, which could be done, but is never reliable as VoIP codecs often kill the connection, due to dropouts, compression and latency over VoIP, hence the many failures of the connection and the weird sounds.
