I love to garden and I try to DIY wherever I can. A lot of what I grow and harvest in my garden can be stored for months. Things like garlic, onions, winter squash, potatoes and sweet potatoes. These things can take up a lot of counter space in the kitchen so a proper storage rack is perfect for gardeners in my position. When I shopped around I quickly realized that the quality I wanted was going to cost between $270-$350! And that is before tax and shipping. I am not a professional woodworker but I knew this would be a project I could handle. I bought incense cedar planks from Home Depot, food grade mineral oil and a set of casters from Amazon, and burlap from Joanns. The project only cost me $67! That is less than 20% the cost to buy.
