Here's the recap from today's Livestream. I'm sorry I can't take the time to cut my actual talk from the Livestream to match the video but I know it would take too much time for me to do it. So voiceover for the win. Some of what we chatted about. The fabric I have dyed is an old sheet and yes, they are less fun/easy to stitch on but I don't mind. I will also likely attach it to something stiffer when I start stitching. Rusted fabric is beautiful but also hard to stitch through. The fabric WAS my 100 day project but I cut my big piece of fabric up to match the sizes of canvases I had. so there are 4 4x4, 3 6x6 2 8x10 and 1 16x20 I wanted to get a lot of the first layer ready because it was desk work then I can have a stack of things to take to the couch. Biggest aha moments I think for people are: Yes, you ARE an artist. Claim it. Don't hoard your good stuff. It doesn't do any good sitting on the shelf. And please, never feel like you can't chat in the live. i try to read everyone's comments outloud so no one misses anything.
