hair color fillers explained- going darker to avoid green hair | 2024

what hair color fillers are & how to use them. *key points: •a color filler is needed if you are going 3 or more levels darker •a color filler adds back in missing pigment to the hair (usually the pigment that is lost when bleaching) •you have to have all three primaries present when coloring hair (red, blue, and yellow) •yellow = blondes, red= medium browns, blue= darker colors/ blacks •if you color your hair darker- going from blonde (YELLOW) to black (BLUE) you will be missing the middle primary (RED). You would use a red filler to avoid getting the opposite color of red-green. •to fill hair: color the hair red (I used 7RR demi permanent color + 10 volume) let it process, shampoo and condition, blow dry, or towel dry. apply your desired color over the red (I used 4NN liquid permanent color + 10 volume), let it process, shampoo and condition. if your hair still has too much red in it, you can apply the desired color again- let it process, shampoo and condition. *my main channel: ‪@BrittneeAlexus‬ *timestamps: what a color filler is: 0:19 example with no filler: 2:46 example with filler: 3:51 example with filler + 2 application of 4NN: 6:00 side by side examples: 6:23 *products used: wella 4NN liquid permanent hair color: https://amzn.to/452Z6sA wella 10 volume developer: https://amzn.to/3Vou7UA wella 7RR demi permanent hair color: https://amzn.to/3Voi89V *related videos: hair color levels:    • hair color levels & tones explained |...   color theory:    • hair color theory | 2024   website: www.brittneealexushair.com *this video is NOT sponsored; however, the links above are affiliate links, meaning I will earn a small commission when a purchase is made using the provided links.
