Khmer New Year 2024 Parade Long Beach California USA EP3 - April 7th, 2024

The 16th annual Cambodia Town Parade and Culture Festival returned to Long Beach on Sunday, April 7th - and thousands turned out to celebrate the Southeast Asian's country's new year, culture, and heritage. The parade and its myriad entrants traveled about a half-mile down Anaheim St., to the delight of hundreds of onlookers, to its final destination at McArthur Park - where the eponymous Culture Festival got underway. The festival, in the heart of Cambodia Town - a roughly one-mile stretch of Anaheim Street between Atlantic and Junipero avenues — featured more than 60 booths showing off Cambodian arts and crafts, cuisine, and more. The event also featured various performances, ranging from ancient Cambodian martial arts demonstrations to live sets by musicians who traveled from Cambodia to take part in the festival. #cambodia #khmer #khmernewyear #khmerusa #cambodiannewyear
