Iran's South Pars gas field and associated infrastructure have come under attack today, Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency has reported. South Pars is the largest natural gas field in the world and is shared with Qatar, where it is known as North Field. Qatar issued a harsh rebuke today, saying Israel's targeting of petrochemical facilities in the area was a dangerous and irresponsible step.
