✈️Practicing Short Field Landings over 50 ft Trees..at Home (II28 - 1400'), Aviat Husky I Like to fly these Drop in's with a little speed and don't drag it in over the trees STOL style because of the Wind unpredictability of the trees and buildings, and the aircraft has plenty of stopping capability from a normal on speed condition. IF I slow it and steepen it into High AOA landings, it shortens the roll about 100-200 ft or so. But thats another video. Enjoy! Trying to calibrate an airspeed ring.. and carrying a little energy, .. (see AOA)..dumping flaps. Last one was No AOA, No wind, and the airspeed was calibrated with a ring.
