MG Astor is offered in the following variants – Sprint, Shine, Select, Sharp Pro, Savvy Pro. There’s also cosmetic enhancement in some variants in the form of Black Storm edition. The ex-showroom prices of the 2024 Astor start from ₹9.98 lakh for the Sprint variant with the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine and 5-speed MT. The range tops out at ₹17.89 lakh (ex-showroom) with the Savvy Pro variant, which gets 1.3L turbo petrol engine with 6-speed TC The MG Astor is available with a 1.5L naturally aspirated Petrol engine and a 1.3L turbo Petrol engine. The 1.5L naturally aspirated Petrol engine is available with a 5-speed MT and a CVT transmission. The 1.3L turbo Petrol engine gets a 6-speed TC transmission. The 2024 Astor is 4323mm long, 1809mm wide and 1650mm tall. Bigger exterior dimensions give a car a stronger road presence. The Astor has a 2585mm long wheelbase. A long wheelbase makes the car more stable at high speeds and gives better legroom in the back seat, while a shorter wheelbase makes the car more agile. The 2024 MG Astor has a fuel tank capacity of 45 litres and a boot space measuring 448 litres. The Astor has a ground clearance of 180mm. The tyre size of the 2024 Astor base model is 215/55 R17 and the top model rides on 215/55 R17 tyres. Cars running on bigger wheels provide better handling and styling. However, these advantages come at the cost of efficiency. Having bigger wheels means more metal and more rotating mass. Therefore, it adversely impacts your drivability, performance and mileage.
