TABASCO SAUCE FACTORY AND FOOD TOUR | Avery Island, Louisiana

On my third day in Louisiana in partnership with Tabasco sauce we explored the Tabasco Sauce factory and had a food tour! We started the day bright and early at the Tabasco Museum where we learned how the company started in the 1860's. From there we visited the Tabasco fields. Next up we saw how they age, blend and bottle Tabasco sauce. We then headed to 1868 restaurant to try some delicious food infused and eaten with Tabasco. We then tried all the Tabasco sauces with the CEO Tony Simmons. We are in the bayou so our tour of in Louisiana would not be completed without an airboat ride. To finish the day we drove to Abbeville to eat some blue crab at Richards. That crab was delicious and the secret ingredient was Tabasco sauce!
