Speed has become a central variable in modern geopolitics. Power today is no longer confined to military strength. It operates across technology cycles, semiconductor ecosystems, supply chains, financial flows, regulatory systems, and information velocity. The faster a state can gather information, process it, and act — the greater its strategic advantage. However, institutions are designed differently. They depend on consensus, legitimacy, layered governance, and procedural mandates. These elements provide stability — but they also slow adaptation. When power accelerates faster than institutional reform, decision space compresses and strategic uncertainty increases. In this video, I explore how speed shapes power, why institutional lag occurs, and whether governance structures can adapt without losing legitimacy. This reflection is shared from a policy and institutional analysis perspective. #Geopolitics #PowerAndSpeed #StrategicStability #InstitutionalGovernance #TechnologyPolicy #Semiconductors
