Not only were Jeb and Bill running underground Poker games on base, but they'd also managed to lose the entire years operating budget when Bill's bluff backfired. Promptly sacked from the Space Program they decide the best of course of action will be to start their own Aerospace company with, booze and a hot tub, and blackjack and a jukebox and an ice hockey table. Despite not having two pennies to rub together Bill and Jeb were unperturbed, there being so many scrap parts scattered across Kerbin, some of which might even be airworthy. Like all fledgling enterprises they'd need some initial investment to get started, and Jeb was sure no-one would mind if they "borrowed" some equipment from the KSC, especially at three in the morning. While Jeb's piloting skills were beyond doubt his engineering prowess remains to be seen. They'd have to assemble Jeb Speed One, all the while trying to avoid the the KSC Police Force tasked with bringing them in.
