Snapchat: LironYan3 🎨FIRST WASH IN WATERCOLOR - DEMO & TUTORIAL 🎨 Hi there! In today's vid I will show you how I approach the first wash in watercolor painting. There are, of course, multiple ways of doing so. This is my way, and I recommend you test out different ways of doing this (: 🎨TWO METHODS FOR THE INITIAL WASH 🎨 From what I've seen so far, it appears there are 2 main methods for doing the initial wash in watercolor: 1. Very quick wash, setting up the mood and atmosphere 2. A slower wash, trying to get in as many details as possible. I really don't belong into one of these camps only. I believe I didn't convey a strong enough sense of depth and scale. But with watercolor, you have to sometimes accept the result and keep moving forward.
