Mount Keen 939m (3,081ft) A quick hike up Scotland's most Eastern Munro. For this hike we started at the standard Glen Eek Car Park. The hike in is 4km along well made access road and proves for easy walking. After about an hour you will come across the Queens Well Memorial stone. A memorial dedicated to Queen Victoria. From here, the hike starts to gain altitude, there's still a well laid path however, you do gain some height. Once upon the main section of ascent, the views start to open up all around. Cairngorms to the West and the North Sea to the East. A fast short pull will see you at the summit in no time. The descent is via the same way as the climb. All round, a standard great wee hike and something to just enjoy.
