This station will be located inside the canyon. At the beginning of the dive, we will search for chemosynthetic fauna, based on findings from our previous cruises. We will start at the bottom of the canyon and move toward the north wall, exploring it all the way to the top. We will be looking for invertebrates and fish. Specimen collection will include biological samples, water, sediments, and eDNA. Capturing high-quality images of the fauna is extremely important. The laser should remain on at all times unless directed otherwise by the lead scientist.
