East Riding of Yorkshire Church Crawl | February 2023 | Barmston to Skerne

In this video I visit 6 historic churches south of Bridlington and East(ish) of Driffield. Not far from where I grew up and an area I know well. The churches visited in this video are: All Saints, Barmston St James de Compostella, Lissett All Saints, Skipsea St Leonard's, Beeford St Andrew's, Foston-on-the-Wolds St Leonard's, Skerne. There is always much more to be said about all of these old church buildings, but for the sake of keeping these videos moving at a steady pace, I had only come out today with the Pevsner’s guide to the East Riding from the Buildings of England series. These volumes are the perfect companion for quick reference, and in this case, for recording videos on-the-go. Further research can be done in-depth at-home. But perhaps I could do longer segments in the future if that would interest people?
