By popular request goldinghamian channel have launched a series of nostalgic "new century" videos taken at the Chelsea Sugar Works hill climb organised and run by the Waitemata Branch of the Vintage Car Club of New Zealand. This Hill Climb Event was one of the jewels in the Vintage Car Club scene in New Zealand and is sadly missed! These videos mark the change over from VHS cameras to Mini digital tapes and the consequent lift in image and sound quality. These videos were only ever intended as a club house record for the participants and it's just as well, as we have lost a number of our older petrol heads with the march of time! Another generation later and these videos have generated many family inquiries to see Grand Dad racing his old car once more! Many thanks as always to Tommy Emmanuel for his magical music which makes everybody's day go that such much better!
