Using ykhwong's custom DOSBox build (V5 dated 2010-12-31) which incorporates quite a few improvements on the MUNT codebase borrowed from ScummVM Videos using a real MT-32 for comparision would be greatly appreciated :) Download of the custom build + patch here: http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic... Keep in mind you'll need the Roland MT-32 ROMs, which are not freeware. Don't ask me where to get them, Google might help. Once put in the DOSBox folder, games should start to use the improved MUNT code using game's built in MT-32 / General MIDI option, without further fiddling with the dosbox.conf file (apart from your usual changes/mappings/etc.). On a sidenote: quite interesting how this game manages to map all ingame sounds to MIDI and still sound quite good (in my opinion better than the Soundblaster/AdLib which can sound quite squeamish with stunts). Emulated using above custom DOSBox build by ykhwong Edited with Virtualdub (format conversion, upscaling, interlacing from 70fps to 30fps for less jerky YT playback [causes minor ghosting]) Last but not least, yeah, I suck in this playback due to not having played this game for quite a while and racing the track used for the first time, but once again, showing off never was the point of this video (it's boosting the popularity of said custom build for the smartasses around).
