Join us tonight on Canada Today Youth Edition, as our host Saamiyah Syed discusses the challenges after graduation and tips and tricks to navigate this testing period. She is joined by guests Dr Naheda Sahtout and Syed Wasti. Dr. Naheda Sahtout (Ph.D) is an award-winning academic, researcher, scientist, and leader. Naheda completed her B.Sc. (Honours) in Biology from the University of Waterloo, M.Sc. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Guelph, and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently a Policy Analyst with Natural Resources Canada, a department of the Government of Canada. In her free time, she is the Managing Director of the Muslims Achieving Excellence (MAX) Scholarships Fund program, a national program dedicated to supporting excellence in youth. Syed Wasti holds a B.Sc. (Honours) degree in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Manitoba and serves as an Actuarial Associate at a prominent life reinsurer company in Canada. He is also currently working towards achieving his Actuarial Designation.
