Today I am wandering the streets of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. It's Monday. It is a day of worship of the Hindu god Shiva. In Nepal, the majority of the people believe in Hinduism. The meaning and importance of the day is especially special for young girls. They pray to find a strong husband like Shiva. Married women also worship Shiva praying for their husbands' health and longevity. I come across and chat with the girls I meet at the temple. Then I visit the Pashupatinath Temple, located on the banks of Nepal's sacred Bagmati river. Enjoy!
