JBL LSR305 is much larger than Genelec 8010A, Genelec's enclosure is build totally out of aluminium while JBL's is a mix MDF and plastic, LSR305 is less than half the price of 8010A, these are the main differences. How about the sound? In short, if You have space for JBL than save the money and get them. JBL is more extended on both ends of sound spectrum, as neutral and focused. JBL has a hint of midrange coloration that Genelec does not have, but it is very subtle most of the times. What do You think? Do You think Genelec is wort over twice the money over JBL?
