If you're trying to clear 35s or 37s on your Toyota IFS truck - 4Runner, Tacoma, FJ or GX - you already know the struggle — body mount chops, firewall tubbing, pinch weld smashing, and endless rubbing. We built a better solution: https://www.coastaloffroad.com/shop/l... After 3.5 years of development and real-world testing, we came up with this Lower Control Arm Relocation Kit. This kit moves your entire front axle line forward 1.5 inches (adjustable in ¼” increments), dramatically improving tire clearance, approach angle, alignment strength, and front-end durability. Instead of hacking into your firewall and cab, this system shifts the tire’s travel path forward — where it should have been from the factory. What This Kit Does: • Moves front axle forward 1.5” (adjustable in ¼” increments) • Makes clearing 35’s, 37’s and beyond dramatically easier • Allows 37s with minimal body mount and firewall modification • Improves approach angle (equivalent to jumping tire sizes without the drivetrain strain) • Eliminates weak factory cam tabs and seized cam bolt issues • Naturally increases caster — no aftermarket UCAs required for correction • Reinforces factory LCA mounts with ¼” steel • Works with factory, mid-travel, and long-travel setups • Compatible with most skid plates • Includes sway-bar relocation brackets Real-World Testing We ran this system for over 3 years, including: • 37x12.5” Trepador bias-ply tires on beadlocks (124lb wheel/tire combo!) • Hard trail abuse • Broken CVs, racks, diffs, tie rods, spindles •What never failed? This Lower Control Arm Relocation Kit Installation requirements • Basic welder • Angle grinder • Removal of lower control arms and CVs only •Steering, coilovers, UCAs, brakes, and spindles remain installed. •Frame Cutting is minimal — only the front factory LCA tabs are removed. Rear tabs remain intact.
